ReAlliance is an innovative company that aims to close the loop between producers and consumers by strengthening their relationship in two ways:

The Recycling Loop: a framework to facilitate the end-to-end recycling chain, to encourage producers to use recycled materials, and to stimulate consumers to recycle waste materials and products.
The Marketing Loop: a framework to assist producers to be more effective in their marketing & sales and supply chain activities and establishing direct engagement and communication with consumers.


Our purpose

The ReAlliance Recycling loop aims to close the gap between producers and consumers in order to establish the end-to-end recycling chain to support producers to use recycled materials and to stimulate consumers to recycle waste materials or products.

Today, society faces an environmental challenge due to the lack of product packaging circularity and the reuse of materials. Most producers do not have a recycling strategy and they do not show the discipline to use recycled materials nor do they design for circularity. In many cases the recycling chain is nonexistent or not consistently applied from producers to consumers. Consumers do not recycle all waste materials, they lack the knowledge, awareness, facilities and therefore do not demonstrate consistent behavior in this respect.

As a consequence;
Valuable, reusable waste materials often end up in landfills or waste materials are incinerated, contributing to CO2 emissions and global warming.
The environment is polluted by litter on land and the plastic soup in oceans and rivers

Nowadays, society recognises;
We collectively need to address these issues as they are non-sustainable and have an irreversible impact on the environment.
Public, NGOs and Governments take action, for example Paris 2050, Plastic Pact, Plastic Soup Foundation, The Ocean CleanUp
More and more producers and manufacturers take measures like simplification of packaging (mono product), applying reused or circular materials

More work needs to be done because not everyone is on board yet and it is important to increase the speed of change. Important elements in this change journey are:
1) To develop an integrated solution that facilitates all parties in the chain since many approach this from their own silo
2) To influence, encourage and reward behavioural change with end consumers since they are not yet fully aware of, confronted with or impacted by the consequences of their behavior.

The ReAlliance Recycling loop aims to close this gap through reconnecting producers and consumers in an end-to-end recycling framework providing an integral technical and behavioral solution for all parties involved.


Our solution

The ReAlliance has developed a platform to motivate and incentify end consumers to return packaging waste. The solution is based on unique product ID’s and micro payments via a digital wallet as a deposit, to drive the recycling of packaging materials.

The ReAlliance Marketing loop aims to close the gap between producers and consumers in order to support producers to be more effective in their marketing & sales and supply chain activities.

Supply chains can be long and non-transparent, lacking the end-to-end oversight. This is often the case with large scale manufacturing companies that sell their products through distributors, wholesalers, or retailers. In these cases the direct connection between the producer and the end consumer doesn’t exist.

As a consequence, the power to influence consumers has shifted from producers to their supply chain partners. This effect has been strengthened by market consolidation of resellers/retailers improving their buying power, and because these partners introduced their own competing private labels.

Producers heavily invest in their brands and marketing & sales activities, whereas the effectiveness of these investments is questionable as the value chain is a black box lacking consumer insights.

The ReAlliance Marketing loop aims to close this gap through reconnecting producers and consumers increasing customer insight.
